Mrs. Rowland began her teaching career in 2008 with Tulsa Public Schools where she taught 1st and 2nd grades at Skelly Elementary before transferring to Mayo Demonstration School. She also spent four years as a 2nd grade teacher and administrative intern with Bixby Public Schools before becoming assistant principal at Bell.
Mrs. Rowland was born and raised in the Tulsa area, graduating from Sapulpa High School in 2004. She received her undergraduate degree in Elementary Education from Northeastern State University. Mrs. Rowland earned her master’s degree in Educational Administration, Curriculum, and Supervision from the University of Oklahoma in 2018.
Mrs. Rowland believes creating a safe, welcoming and collaborative school environment is key to creating successful school experiences for teachers, students, and families. She believes in a culture of high expectations that focuses on helping students reach their full potential.
During her free time, Mrs. Rowland enjoys spending time with her family, reading, and listening to podcasts.
